The TIARA Newsletter is an important benefit to our members. Many become members primarily for the Newsletter.
Published quarterly, the TIARA Newsletter contains articles of genealogical interest, including submissions by TIARA members, family stories, research sources, notable blogs, book reviews and a calendar of upcoming events in the genealogical world. Each edition focuses on a general theme such as children’s vital records, World War I, and Irish-Canadian resources.
The newsletter is available as a printed edition in full-page format or as a PDF file that can be downloaded from a server over the internet. Photos in the PDF file are in color. The PDF version is included in the annual fee, whereas due to mailing costs there is an additional charge for the printed version.
Members are encouraged to write stories, submit articles about historical research or genealogical adventures. Send material for publication to newsletter@tiara.ie. You may also see articles by well-known authors and researchers in the field of Irish Genealogy.
