Burns Library Resources at Boston College by Marta Crilly, Head Librarian with Shelley Barber, Outreach Specialist

Please join Burns Library staff members Marta Crilly and Shelley Barber to learn about the family history resources available at Boston College’s Burns Library. Explore the genealogical information available in the newspapers, university archives, burial records, personal papers, and other resources that live at Burns Library.

 Marta Crilly is the Head of Public Services at Burns Library where she manages outreach, access, and instruction programs. Prior to her work at Burns Library, she worked for the Boston City Archives. She holds an MA in History and an MS in Library and Information Science. 

 Shelley Barber is the Reference and Outreach Specialist at Burns Library where she has worked for 24 years. In her role, Shelley conducts genealogical research for the Burns Library’s Archives Department and answers most reference enquiries related to Boston College history. She holds a certificate in Genealogical Research from Boston University.

This is a Hybrid Meeting.
