TIARA 2010 Salt Lake City Research Trip

The Irish Ancestral Research Association (TIARA) is pleased to announce that we will be offering our members a genealogy research trip to Salt Lake City, Utah, in 2010. All travel arrangements will be handled by Angela Keane at Longwood Travel.

SALT LAKE CITY arrive: May 16, 2010

SALT LAKE CITY depart: May 23, 2010

COST PER WEEK:
$775 per person for those sharing a hotel room (double room).
$1,130 per person for a single room.
The Salt Lake City week includes: 7 nights hotel at The Salt Lake Plaza Hotel (including taxes & gratuities); an evening meal (day to be determined); airport transfers; a meet and greet on the night of arrival; a special orientation to the library; a half-day tour of the Salt Lake City area midweek; and genealogical research advice and assistance.

The price does not include air fare. You can make your own arrangements, or Angela Keane at Longwood Travel will be happy to assist you with your airline reservations. She can be reached at 781.245.5622 She can also assist with travel insurance or other travel needs.

The Salt Lake Plaza hotel could not be closer to the Family History Library. It is right next door. The Plaza is across the street from historic Temple Square and adjacent to Salt Lake's 3 largest shopping malls. Trolleys run just outside the hotel that can take you into the downtown area or out to the shopping area. There are shops and restaurants within walking distance as well. Deposits will be accepted through January 1st, 2010. We urge you to get your initial deposit in as soon as possible to save your spot. We will again limit this trip to no more than 21 researchers. Any deposits received after the January 1st deadline will be subject to hotel approval, and all reservations will be treated on a first come, first served basis.
Deposit: $200 due no later than January 1st, 2010
Final payment: due no later than February 1st, 2010

Longwood Travel has asked that payment for the trip be made by check. If you are booking airfare through them, credit cards can be used for that part of your purchase.

No refunds can be provided. Please investigate travel insurance.

TIARA is working with LTW Inc. a booking agent for hotels and vendors, to arrange this event. Neither LTW Inc. nor TIARA are liable for injury, damage, loss, accident, delays etc.
